we dropped it by the doctor's office on our way to play at a park in Kinston with Savanna and her family, but they made me wait. soon they were putting me in a room as you and daddy waited in the car. i knew this wasn't a good sign. the doctor says there are still a lot of WBCells in your urine along with other junk, SO we started antibiotic #5 of the summer. they have to help you fight this infection because they can't let it get out of hand with your heart issues.
Keflex is the new anti that SHOULD help rid you of this UTI. should the culture that grows tonight show the doctor anything different, he will change you to a more appropriate antibiotic to help you fight the infection. we knew that you were not completely well although you've been on Septra for a week (started throwing it up on day 8 so they said we could stop giving it to you). you've had some more low grade fevers and about 3 bites of food is all you want at each meal. thankfully you're eating your yogurt (which contains your heart and reflux meds and vitamin) and even doing fairly well when it comes to chicken. apple sauce has been a winner but nothing else much is getting past your lips. we thank God that you are still drinking fairly well - this is what's keeping you out of the hospital. Dr. Yeh left the ball in my court this am - as soon i think you may be getting dehydrated i just call and we bypass the ER and get admitted right away for fluids and IV antibiotics. so far, you are making us proud, keeping us far from the hospital. it took some coaxing to get the Keflex in but you complied (it will be 3 times a day). now you're snoring away and maybe you'll get a 4 hour nap like you did Thursday to help you fight even harder. when my baby girl isn't getting up in the mornings with the chickens (6/6:30am) i know something is up. you've been sleeping until 7/7:30 even after getting to bed a bit earlier than usual. mama and daddy are praying very hard that you will soon be done with fighting infections and that they can figure out what's going on with your kidneys. school will soon be starting and you just gotta get well baby girl! we love you, mama and daddy
Playing at the park with Savanna and her sister Laney Saturday am Aug. 8, 2009
Savanna & Janna crossing the wall to get to the swings/slides (they happen to have the same shoes).
Savanna running to the swings!
Fun on the swings!
Big smiles from Savanna!
Big smiles from Laney!
Up to the big slide!
Taking a little break - she is fighting a UTI still.
Where are the girls?!
There they are!

Those are cute pictures. Looks like they had lots of fun.
3 times a day is hard for taking meds. Hope Janna decides they aren't that bad.
Get better Janna!
