Happy Anniversary on the Creek

Not your typical Anniversary celebration - but hey, we're not your typical people either :) we decided we'd celebrate in the woods, on a blackwater creek and God provided the most beautiful day! Although we'd fought a little food poisoning the day before and Joe even a little today, we went ahead with our plans. it was a super windy day on March 6th five years ago and today was no different. but we were low in a creek with a lot of tree coverage so the wind didn't bother us much. in fact it made for a peaceful ride back to the dock - no paddling necessary other than to steer a little. Janna is visiting with her grandparents - can't you tell i've had a little more computer time :) Happy Anniversary Joe - you are the sweetest guy in the world! Janna, you have a wonderful daddy who loves you and me with all of his heart - we are SO blessed! take a good look at these pictures baby girl because very soon we are going to attempt taking you out in the water - you'll ride in mama's boat and when you get older we'll get you your own kayak to pitter around in. Happy Anniversary sweetie - thanks for being my best friend and for loving me and our daughter so much. i am so thankful that God put you in my life! xo
