Nurse Maid's Elbow
No, you didn't lose an eye, you are not in heart surgery, you don't need major medical attention. BUT, it breaks my heart when i hear that 'Help, I'm in pain!' cry that i just overheard thru Grandma's phone. i'm 40 miles from you and probably the only family member that knows and is willing to put your little elbow back in the socket. Grandma got tired of waitng for the school nurse to come to your room and check on you so she's driving you to the doctor right now. yes, i'm teary eyed and waiting for the verdict. it pulls on my heart when you are in pain and no one knows what to do for you. EVERYONE at your school will soon know how easy your elbows and shoulders come out of socket. putting it down on a medical form just doesn't cut it. daddy and Grandpa are praying right now too. and just like that, before i can type out my feelings, the doctor has your little elbow back in and good to go again. your tears are all dried up and you are celebrating over the stickers they gave you. i'm thankful that Grandma was calm and collected and got you where you needed to be amongst all the screaming and uncertainty. she suspected by the way you were holding your arm that something was out of socket. as soon as she told me you were holding your arm i knew what was going on. i'm so sorry sweetie pie. mama will do a better job of notifying folks of this from now on. it just ain't worth pulling on your arms for redirection, for raising you to your feet, for ANYTHING! we'll do all we can to make sure people know to pick you up under your arms, let you drop to the floor if you start pulling away, etc. i'm so sorry. i'm glad that you are all better now. i love you baby girl, mama

I'm sorry friend! ((((AJ)))) I'm glad she is doing well now. Is this something typical with Ds that I just haven't heard of yet? Just curious as I don't want to do something that might hurt our little one either.
You are a great mom! Don't beat yourself up. (((AJ)))
Poor little girl! I'm sure she is fine by now. I'm sure it just killed you though to know what was wrong but not being able to fix it.
Love the header pic BTW!
Oh no, poor Janna! I hope she's all better now. That's got to be so painful!
Oh man AJ! I can imagine how torturous that was for YOU! Glad Janna is all better- bless her heart, I mean, elbow. :-)
