Joey Wants to Know?

If you’ve seen the title/link listed on the left side of this blog, you may have wondered what in the world is 'Joey Wants to Know'? If you’ve clicked on the link, you already know that it’s a title to a book. It’s a great little book written by a great lady in our church. She was pushed so strongly by God to get out of her comfort zone and not only write a book but to also speak before hundreds of people, more than once, about childhood sexual abuse and her own experience. If you get the chance to purchase this book, it is great for teaching children which touches are appropriate and which are not. The author did not desire to write this book. She did not want to discuss her story with her husband much less put it out for the public to see. God brought about recovery in her life from the abuse she experienced as a child and has opened many doors along the way. He provided healing in her life and now she wants to provide parents with a tool to keep all children safe from sexual abuse. God kept putting visions and words into her mind until she agreed to put it all down in a children’s book. She will tell you that God wrote this book! And He kept pushing her until she saw that it was published. If you need a good teaching tool to talk to your kids about sexual abuse, Joey Wants to Know is a great little book to help kids understand what they should and should not experience in life.
