A REAL Conversation!

My eyes filled with tears as I was just talking with you baby girl, on the phone. Yea, sure you've played on the phone and babbled a 'hey' here and there before. But this morning you actually talked with me and I am SO excited! You listened although you were tapping buttons at times and you answered me some times and you cheered when I mentioned your sucessful #2 potty trip that G-ma had just told me about. I called daddy to tell him as he is a bit frustrated with the potty not being your #1 priority right now. He wants you at 100% so badly. I know you will do it in your own time.

I enjoyed hearing your sweet voice on the phone. You've got a little cold right now and I hope you get over it quickly. School was delayed by 2 hours since there were still some ice patches on the back roads. Grandma is not taking you to school since you'd only go for 1 hour and you have a cold too - so you basically got a whole week off this week with the Holiday and snow/ice we got. I'll post some snow pictures here soon. You really enjoyed playing in it the first day! The next day you were not so happy about it. I think it was too bright outside for your little eyes. You didn't want to wear your sunglasses and you had a little cold coming on so you just wanted me to hold you. But it was a VERY beautiful snow and a rare thing for us. I sure have enjoyed it and am thankful that God blessed us with a beautiful covering for a couple of days. It should all be gone after today with our nearly 60 degree temps. Be sweet for Grandma!
