Happy New Year!

Well, praise the Lord Janna Macie - you have made it through 2007 and 2008 and avoided the heart surgery they said you would need at age 3. ALL praise to God for keeping you strong and healthy and fighting! You see Dr. M in just a couple of weeks and we expect nothing less than more miracles from the Father of Lights! You've recovered from pneumonia well although you are dealing with some head congestion. I hope you are all clear before school starts back next week. We praise God that you have not had a winter like this ever before because your first couple of years you were a bit small and weak to fight like you have this one.

I tried to make you a dentist appointment today at this really cool dentist that caters to infants, toddlers, and adolescents. It looks like a great place and a co-worker recommended him. They were closed but I will call them again on Monday. I knew you would be thrilled : ) They just want to count your teeth baby girl! You do so well for mama, and Grandpa, and PaPa brushing your teeth - maybe we 3 should come to your appointment. And you do a fair job of brushing them yourself. You didn't care much for your last appointment so I figured I'd try to find a fun place - they have animals in every chair and lots of fun kid stuff all around. They even have kid-size doors and such to fit you just right. Your Great Grandma is now 90 and she has all of her teeth, and can brag to say she's also never had a cavity! I sure hope you have teeth like hers because you surely don't care for anyone plundering around in your mouth. I heard that it takes awhile to get an appointment with this dentist so you want have to worry much about it right now. Visiting your cardiologist is enough to think about for this month. WOW did you have a good day with potty training yesterday! We were all so proud and pray that you keep it up in 2009 - daddy will be the happiest of all ; ) Mama and daddy love you bunches and bunches!
