I'm finally blogging again - ha! Gotta get one in for December ; ) i really do hope to improve at this. though my post today is not one of cheer. a co-worker of mine lost his little girl last evening. Hannah is her name and she has been the bravest little fighter for the past (almost 6 years). Hannah would have been 6 in February 09. she has fought cancer and had chemo treatments as early as 6 months of age. she is one tough cookie! and now she dances with Jesus on the clouds. she talked of heaven often and her brother, David, who lost his life in Iraq fighting for you and me nearly 3 years ago. Hannah can once again see and talk with her older brother David. and best of all, she doesn't have to deal with any chemo, or an artificial bladder and bags, or pain or the waiting. she recently asked her parents why God was taking so long to take her to heaven. i pray i never i have to answer a question like that! how do you answer that!? as i said, she was such a brave girl and full of confidence. she knew her Lord would rescue her and take care of her forever and always. the hurt that her family is feeling today, i can't imagine! but i'm thankful that their faith is and will continue to see them through. they knew awhile ago that God had a very special purpose for Hannah's life and on earth, it has been fulfilled. but her life and her fight will continue on in the lives of the many she touched and inspired. her daddy told me once that when she'd have echoes to check that the chemo wasn't damaging her heart, she would ask the drs. 'where is Jesus?' while they were taking pictures of her heart. she knew He lived in her heart and so she wanted to see Him : ) oh that we'd all have that 'child-like faith' that God asks us to have. the kind of faith that assures we'll see Him face to face one day.
please visit Hannah's page linked below to see her wonderful faith, smiles, and fight. Princess Hannah will NEVER be forgotten! and she lives on in a beautiful castle in heaven with her brother David!
