It's amazing to see how you and your kitty kitty have bonded so well. Both cats love you but i think Midnight adores you. The day this picture was taken (Feb 7, 2009) you accidently sat on Midnight's leg and it hurt him! I saw him pull that paw up in distress to attack the weight on his back end and knowing it was you, Janna Macie, he flung that paw back and kept it from your face. Now his hind leg did dig into your leg a little as he escaped your grasp and weight. It's just amazing to me that he needed to protect himself but did not scratch you when you hurt him. He knows that you're learning i guess. And i know it's hard to snuggle up with your precious kitty without bearing any weight on him. You'll figure it out in time. Midnight loves you so much and so does mama and daddy!
