as of today, i have been entering my place of business for 17 straight years. above is a picture of the buidling i mostly work in and resided in for the past 9 years. recently i was moved to another building but i still consider this home because we develop and improve products on the first floor of this building.
i started working in the Pharmaceutical Industry on January 14, 1992. in ways it seems like yesterday and in others i surely feel every step. i'm thankful for the years gone by, for the many good people i work, and have worked, with, for great benefits, i could go on and on. the Lord has truly blessed me in this job. i've been in the Technology Department for 10 years come this Summer. i moved around a bit in the beginning, every 2-2.5 years and finally found a home in R&D. it's a very unpredictable environment yet interesting all the same. i enjoy what i do although it can get stressful at times, juggling several things at once. the best part at the end of each day is to know that someone somewhere is greatly affected, in a good way, by the products that we develop and make. we make several life-saving medicines. that helps a person stay focused when on the job. when you know that the material you are working with could be injected into you or a loved one, you want it to be best and safest that it can be. so today, i just want to thank the Lord for my job. i know it could be gone tomorrow but no matter what He is always good and He always will provide!
